Kadinbudu Kofte ~ Turkish Meatball Recipe

In Turkish cuisine, kadinbudu kofte are meatballs made with rice, dipped in eggs and fried and these meatballs are good! They passed the kid test at my house and that is big!

Mamoul Cookies ~ Maamoul, Ma'amoul

Mamoul cookies - also called Ma'amoul or Maamoul - are date and nut filled Middle Eastern cookies and they are delicious! They are flavored with orange blossom water which I love!

I have been told Ma'amouls can also be flavored with rose water...both of which - orange water and rose water - can be found in Asian and Middle Eastern markets or online.

Revani Tarifi ~ Turkish Semolina Cake Recipe

Revani Tarifi means sweet semolina pastry recipe in Turk. Revani = sweet semolina pastry and tarifi = recipe.

Caramel Rose Petal Cupcakes *Gluten free

These caramal rose petal cupcakes are very moist and have a pleasant lemony taste. The rose petal flavor is very faint. If you would like a more pronounced rose flavor, you can replace the lemon juice with rose water. I personally like a dinstinct rose flavor but many do not....

If you love blueberries and cream cheese, you will love this blueberry tea sandwiches. You may use any bread. I have used cinnamon raisin bread with great success and even a whole grain bread, white is fine also.

Apple Pie Scones

Thanksgiving 2011 inspired me to try to create apple pie scones. Scones are biscuit-like cakes which are commonly served alongside tea sandwiches and cookies during tea time. They are not as sweet as a cake but sweeter than the biscuits that we are used to in the United States.
