If you are looking for Irish tea party crafts: making a Shamrock potato stamp is so easy and loads of fun.

You can make your own stamp with very few ingredients:

  • A potato - one potato will make 2 stamps

  • A sharp knife

  • Some green craft paint

  • A small paint brush

You will also need some paper or other items to stamp:

  • Kitchen towels

  • Envelopes

  • White pillow case

  • Apron

  • Bookmarks

  • Wooden object

As you can see, your imagination is the limit!

Potato Stamp





Step by Step Instructions

1. Cut the potato in half.

2. Place the cookie cutter on one half of the potato and push it into the flesh.

3. With the knife cut a slice of the potato while leaving the cookie cutter in place. Cut all around the cookie cutter.

4. Remove the cookie cutter - you will have a heart shape.

5. With your paint brush, lightly brush some green paint on the stamp.

6. Stamp and repeat step 5 two more times.

7. With your paint brush make a stem on the shamrock.
