Here are some fun pirate tea ideas which also fit any summer, exotic, beach, or scavenger hunt themes.

Did you know that - for some - tea drinking can be as elaborate as wine tasting? No, I am not kidding.

In fact, tea tasters do follow similar steps to taste tea as wine tasters do for wine. Tea tasters rely on four of their senses when tasting a tea:

Visual: They look at the tea leaves. The leaves of your tea can tell you a lot about the tea itself such as its freshness - or lack thereof.

Smell: After your tea has steeped. Take a deep breath and inhale its aroma. Observe the color of your tea.

Taste: Sip a little tea and swish it around your mouth to ensure that the tea is spread all over your oral cavity. This way you can experience all of your teas different notes: sweet, bitter, sour, etc.

Touch: The feel of the tea leaves between the tips of your fingers.
