Mini Quiche Recipes

Here are some basic mini quiche recipes, which can be easily and quickly adapted to multiple flavors and fillings.

At my house, mini quiches disappear fast and for good reason: these bite size quiches are delicious. But don't be fooled, they are also quite easy to make!

I will give you various recipe ideas but it is by no means an exhaustive list.

The batter is always the same: eggs, milk, salt and pepper. That is the basic recipe. The filling can be anything you want: mushrooms, spinach, olives, chicken, sausage, ham, bacon, etc. As to the topping, again you have many cheeses to choose from: the traditional Swiss cheese, or cheddar, Monterey jack, pepper Jack, a blend... As you can see, quiches are so versatile and can be adapted to any flavor, any taste buds and any themed tea party.

This mini quiche recipe makes it so easy to share a traditional dish - quiche - in bite sizes...perfect for tea!

Mexican, Plain and Mushrooms Easy Mini Quiches

Easy Mini Quiches: Ingredients

  • 3 eggs - beaten

  • 3/4 cup heavy cream, half and half or milk. I use whole milk.

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • Pie crust for 2 pies either store bought or homemade

  • 2/3 cup cheese - Swiss, cheddar, parmesan, Monterey or a mix of various cheeses.

When I make mini quiches, I make different kinds and I end up with about 3 1/2 dozen. If you make them all plain you will have less and if you make them all with a filling you will have more. I make plain and filled quiches.

Method for Easy Mini Quiches

This recipe is for plain quiches.

Make the filling.

With a 2 1/4 inch cookie cutter cut some circles into your pie crust. Place each circle into the greased hole of a mini muffin pan.
