Simple Irish Tea RecipeFinding an Irish tea recipe was no small task! When I finally found one, it was made with alcohol and since my Irish tea party included mostly kids I had to come up with an Irish cream tea recipe which was kid friendly AND tasted good. I think I did. Now you get to be the judge of my Irish tea experiment! I must say there was not a drop left so it was a hit with the kids...always a good thing I think! Don't you think so? I made my tea with Irish Breakfast tea. The Irish like their tea black - not green or white - and full-bodied. Irish breakfast meets these criterias. Irish breakfast is usually a blend of several black teas - almost all of them include Assam teas. Due to the strength of this tea, it is most commonly served with milk...not cream! By the way, in Ireland, Irish Breakfast tea is not called Irish Breakfast but simply...tea! So...make a batch, taste it - or get someone else to - and come back to leave your review...or better a recipe of your own! Irish tea comments and reviews. ![]() Irish Tea Recipe with Alcohol
