Club soda also called soda water, carbonated water, sparkling water, fizzy water or seltzer water is plain water infused in which carbon dioxide gas has been dissolved. This process is called carbonation. The process of carbonation can be manmade but it does also occur naturally. There are places around the world with naturally occurring carbonated water: Perrier and San Pellegrino are good examples of naturally occurring soda water.
