Now, if you have a garden in bloom, you have a wonderful head start. I don't think you can ever quite replicate the beauty of nature with the abundance of color shades and their vibrancy. I mean, how many shades of green, pink, yellow, etc are there in nature? See what I mean?

For us, a garden tea party in the garden was not an option:

Our garden consist of dirt, cactus and barely green wispy bushes...forget about flowers. So Unless you have an affinity for a desert decor...our yard does not fit the bill.

Even if our garden was beautiful and lush...we'd have the heat to worry about...and sorry but 110 degree F. just does not fit the bill either.

So for these obvious reasons, we move our tea party inside...and it turned out just wonderful!

Now keep in mind that planning your tea party decor can be cheap or quite pricey...work with your budget. Planning a beautiful tea party need not be expensive...ours was not. Yes, I would have loved beautiful plates, etc but that was not in the budget so went with paper and it was still pretty, functional and fun.
