For Christians, Easter means newness of life through the resurrection of Jesus Christ after he was crucified.
In fact, Easter is the oldest holiday celebrated by the Christians who like to call this Holiday "Resurrection Sunday."
For some Christians, Easter is preceded by a 40 day time period during which
some people fast - either from food or from activities that are really likes such
as TV watching.
For Christian, Easter it is what their faith is based on: Christ rising from the dead to give eternal life to all who would receive it.
A tea party is a wonderful way to celebrate this special time of the year: loved ones and food! If you are a Christian believer, you may
even add a little
devotional time or even a time of prayer.
