Cranberry Turkey Tea Sandwiches





These cranberry turkey tea sandwiches are perfect for a fall or a Christmas tea party.

They are very easy to make. You can serve them in any size you want. I serve mine cut in half. However, if you want some tiny tea sandwiches, you can use some nice cookie cutters and cut them into various shapes. You can also cut them into quarters rather than halves.

These tea sandwiches do not use many ingredients, they can be assembled very quickly.

Cranberry Turkey Tea Sandwiches





Cranberry Turkey Sandwiches: Ingredients


  • 1 loaf of quality white bread - or another bread of your choice.

Note: Do not use a bread which will crumble when cut.

  • 1 can cranberry sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • One bag smoked turkey






Cranberry Turkey Sandwiches: Method


In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of cranberry sauce with 2 tablespoons of mustard.

Note: The ratio of cranberry sauce to mustard is 1/4 cup to 1 tablespoon. However, you can adjust it to your taste.

Take one slice of bread and spread some of the cranberry/mustard mixture on its side. Place a piece - or two - of smoked turkey. Add another slice of bread. Cut out the crust away from the sandwich. Cut into halves.

Note: As I mentioned before you can also use some cookie cutters and cut the sandwiches into shape.
