Clown Cupcakes InstructionsI made up these clown cupcakes for a birthday party. My - then 8 year old - son loves when I make a clown birthday cake and as an added surprise I decided to make some cupcakes. They turned out very well and he was very pleased with the results. ![]() Clown Cake Since I did not have a model, these cupcakes took some trial and errors but overall they were easy to make. Give them a try...little kids - and big ones - will love them. After you make your clown cupcakes, please come back and leave a review - with a picture of course! ![]() DirectionsBake your cupcakes as per your recipe. Wait until they have cooled off. ![]() Cut a whole at the top of your cupcakes - keep the cone you cut out for the clown's hat. ![]() ![]() Fill the whole with the filling of your choice. ![]() Take a marshmallow place it on top of the filling. ![]() For the clown's eyes, you will use two chocolate sprinkles. At first we tried to stick them in the marshmallow with mild success. We - my oldest daughter and I - decided to wet the marshmallow and stick the chocolate sprinkles instead and we liked that much better. ![]() Make a nose with the frosting. Then wet the top of the marshmallow and stick the "hat" on. Put some frosting all around the base of the marshmallow and either leave it like this or stick some Skittles - or M&Ms - around as decorations.
