Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods Pretzel Snowman
Making these chocolate covered pretzel rods - pretzel snowman - is really easy and really fun.
I made my dipped pretzel rods with my children and we really had a great time. Plus since each snowman pretzel rod only take about 30 minutes from
start to finish, it makes it even better. Kids are not known to be patient so any activity that can be done and finished quickly is much better.
The only difficulty was in finding some 8 inch pretzel rods. When I finally did - at Walmart - many of them were broken. However,
we still had enough to each make one pretzel snowman each.
These pretzel snowmen are not only fun to make, they are quite yummy to eat.

Snowman pretzels ~ Comments and reviews.
Pretzel Snowman - Ingredients
- A bag of white chocolate chips - 12 oz
- Mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Pretzel Snowman - Method
Over a double broiler, melt the white chocolate chips with the oil. Once it is melted, either dip
half of your pretzel rod into the melted chocolate or use a pastry brush to "paint" some chocolate on your rod.
Place your dipped pretzel rod on a piece of cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Place some mini chocolate chips for the eyes
and the buttons. Roll a tiny piece of orange gumdrop for the nose and then place the pretzels into the freezer for about 15 minutes.
Take the pretzel rods out of the freezer. Stretch a gummy ring over the top of the rod. Place some melted chocolate on top to act as
glue for the gumdrop. Cut a piece of fruit leather to make a scarf...and you are done.
Enjoy!
