Pin It Autumn Leaf CookiesThese Autumn leaf cookies are really fun - and easy - to make and if you have a kid tea party, the little ones will love them mainly because of their fun shapes. The basic ingredient for these Autumn cookies is a basic homemade pie crust recipe. You can make ypie crust somewhat easily. However, if you are pie crust challenfed - or just don't want the added work - you can buy an already made pie crust. For the filling, I used crunchy natural peanut butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips. You can use many other fillings, here are some ideas:

Autumn Cookies: MethodOn a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thick. ![]() With a large - 4 1/2 inches - leaf shaped cookie cutter, cut an even number of leaves. Place half of them on a greased cookie sheet. ![]() ![]() Add 1 tsp. of peanut butter and 5 chocolate chips in the center of each leaf. ![]() With a pastry brush, brush some water on the outer edge of each leaf and place another leaf on top. Seal the edges together, the water will act like glue. ![]() ![]() With your pastry brush, brush some milk on top of each cookie. Sprinkle the top of your cookies with some raw sugar and bake them at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes - or until golden brown. You May Also Like
