Yes, this is the About Us page...

To be honest, there is not all that much to say and I'd rather hear about you...where you are from, your name, your're favorite tea recipes, etc. But since you came here, I assume you want to find out more about the person behind "fun-tea-party-ideas.com."

I was born and raised in France and came to the United Statesin 1987 to go to college. Studied, graduated, worked, met the man of my dreams, got married, became a mom and the rest his history. I became an American citizen in 2007.

My husband and I are proud - and blessed - to be the parents of 10 children:

9 living

7 boys, 2 girls and a baby girl in heaven

9 by birth, 1 by adoption

I must tell you that I am NOT a tea expert, I am however, a tea aficionado. Coffee has never been my thing...tea however has always been my beverage of choice after water. So I don't profess to have all the answers.

Tea parties?

I loved them as a little girl and my daughters love them now...this is how we enjoy having "girl time." So again, I am not an expert but rather a fan.

I am a stay at home mom and since 2008, I have been building web sites for fun and as a extra source of income. No, I am in no way a computer genius...as a matter of fact I am more of a computer nerd...so why websites you ask?

Well, because I have hobbies and interests that I know people - like you - are interested in as well. So I figured if I could help you by sharing what I know then I would be a happy person. If you are interested in having your own site, check Site Build It - SBI for short - out. With no previous computer knowledge at all I have been able to build sucessfull sites and I have no doubt that you can as well!

I was too chicken to do it alone the first time, so a friend of mine and I started with one site together. This site is about pregnancy and natural childbirth. This was a passion of ours and with 11 births between the two of us, we figured we knew a thing or two about birthing.

After that site, I had "the bug"....so onto the second site...a recipe site and now the newest addition: this tea site. All of them about things I enjoy.

I was only able to build those sites because of SBI - Site Build It - who took me by the hand and step by step helped me get where I am today.

Besides web sites what else do I like?

A lot!

Reading, listening to music, walking, quilting, etc... But enough about me...
